
CALGARY - Calgary is ranked 49th overall in the world when it comes to the most expensive office markets, according to CB Richard Ellis Ltd.
In its semi-annual Global Office Rents survey, released today, the commercial real estate firm said Calgary made the list with office occupancy costs of $51.69 per square foot.
Toronto was ranked 34th at $60.77 while Vancouver was 39th at $56.33.
The survey tracked occupancy costs for prime office space in 176 cities around the globe.
The most expensive market was London West End at $185.72 followed by Hong Kong ($155.53), Tokyo Inner Central ($146.18), Mumbai ($127.67) and Moscow ($127.00).
