OTTAWA — Home resales in Canada fell in February from the previous month, with the biggest drop recorded in Vancouver, the Canadian Real Estate Association said Monday. A steady rise in the residential sector has sparked an increase in the estimated construction value of building permit applications in Calgary last month. The City of Calgary said Friday the construction value in February rose by 27 per cent compared with a year ago from $150 million to $190 million.
